As Stichting Justice and Human Rights, we strongly condemn the terrorist attack that took place in Mulhouse, France, on February 22, 2025, resulting in the tragic loss of a civilian and the serious injury of two police officers.

This attack is an unacceptable act of violence directed at law enforcement officers simply performing their duties and an innocent civilian. Any form of terrorism and radicalization poses a direct threat to the fundamental right of societies to live in peace.

We are deeply saddened to learn that a brave citizen lost his life while trying to intervene in the attack. His courage and self-sacrifice represent one of the highest examples of human dignity.

Furthermore, we extend our best wishes for a swift recovery to the injured police officers. Law enforcement officers serve with dedication to ensure the safety of our communities. Any attack against them is not only an attack on their personal security but also an assault on the rule of law and social harmony.

Terrorism and violence can never be justified under any belief, ideology, or legitimacy.

On this occasion, we express our deepest condolences to the people of France and unequivocally condemn all acts of terror and violence. We reaffirm our commitment to defending social peace and human rights.
