The first meeting of our Foundation’s Women’s Working Group was held on January 4, 2026, at our activity center, with the participation of several members of our Board of Directors. The meeting was led by our female volunteers who wish to actively contribute to the foundation’s work.
Since its establishment, our foundation has considered the active participation of women in foundation governance and working groups as one of its core priorities. This approach is also reflected in our five-year policy plan.
It is widely known that among individuals who have been displaced due to human rights violations, war, and similar circumstances, and who have experienced various forms of trauma, women and children are the groups most in need of support. For this reason, expanding and strengthening our work in this field remains one of the most important goals of our foundation’s management.
During the highly productive meeting, it was decided to implement various activities for women throughout 2026 and to allocate a dedicated budget for these initiatives.
