Amsterdam Trip – 12 June 2022

A trip to Amsterdam was organized on 12 June 2022 to support the victims who applied for asylum in the Netherlands due to the difficult conditions they are in, and to provide information about the historical and cultural values of the Netherlands. Families of victims attended this trip with their children.

The coordination of the trip was made by foundation volunteers and Amsterdam city center was visited with a professional guide. During this activity, important places such as Amsterdam Central train station, Saint Nicolas church, Wailing tower, Old Church, Damrak Street, Dam square, New Church, National Monument, De Waag, Jodenbuurt, Rembrandtplein, Anne Frank house were visited with their stories. The excursion program started at Amsterdam Centraal station at 10:00 and ended in front of the Anne Frank museum at 16:00. About 50 people participated in the trip.
