Human rights are universal and indivisible values that transcend geographical borders, legal statuses, and ethnic backgrounds. Every individual possesses the right to live in a safe environment, freely develop their potential, and build an independent future through their own labor. Today, refugees and status holders who have been forced to flee their homelands due to war, political oppression, and human rights violations are not merely individuals seeking refuge; they are our new neighbors bringing with them a wealth of experience, professional expertise, diverse skills, and a strong drive to contribute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cornerstone of Integration: Labor Market Participation and Respect for Work<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

True and lasting integration cannot be limited to basic humanitarian aid or social adaptation programs. The most powerful driver of a rights-based integration process is equal access to decent work and the right to employment<\/strong>. An individual participating in the labor market:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Gains economic independence and becomes an active agent in social life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Contributes their knowledge and skills toward the prosperity of the society they live in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    However, in practice, many highly educated and skilled newcomers encounter bureaucratic obstacles, diploma recognition delays, language barriers, and societal prejudices. Consequently, they often work below their qualifications or remain excluded from the workforce entirely. Leaving talent and labor underutilized is not only a loss of motivation for the individual, but also a significant loss for the local economy and society as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Our Mission<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    As a foundation, our core objective is to support the active, equal, and empowered participation of refugees and newcomers in social and economic life, help them overcome systemic barriers, and implement a rights-based integration model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We consider it a humanitarian and legal responsibility to make newcomers’ prior professional experience, academic backgrounds, and potential visible, connecting them with appropriate education, traineeships (leerwerktrajecten<\/em>), and employment opportunities. We believe that true social harmony is built on the principles of “producing together” and “living together.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Call to Build a Shared Future<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Creating an inclusive, just, and human-centered society is a shared responsibility among all stakeholders. Overcoming prejudices, creating equal opportunities in the labor market, and upholding human dignity require collective intellect and joint effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
