Amsterdam, Netherlands – 11 October 2024

The Justice and Human Rights Foundation is proud to announce its participation in the 2024 OSCE Human Dimension Conference, organized by the OSCE Malta Presidency in collaboration with the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR). The conference, held in Warsaw from 30 September to 11 October, brought together over 1,500 participants, including representatives from governments, international organizations, civil society, academia, and the media from across the OSCE region.

Two members of our Foundation attended this vital forum to engage in discussions on pressing human rights challenges facing the international community today. The event’s agenda covered a broad spectrum of key topics, including:

  • Strengthening democratic institutions and ensuring fair elections
  • Promoting gender equality and combating violence against women
  • Addressing the elimination of torture and the fight against human trafficking
  • Upholding the rule of law, ensuring judicial independence, and the right to a fair trial
  • Preventing intolerance and discrimination
  • Safeguarding the rights of national minorities, including the Roma and Sinti communities

Discussions emphasized the universal obligation to respect international humanitarian and human rights law and the importance of accountability for violations.

Throughout the conference, our representatives engaged in productive dialogue with international stakeholders and underscored our Foundation’s commitment to advocating for human rights globally. The briefing provided by our delegation upon their return reflects our firm stance: no human rights violation, wherever it occurs, should be ignored.

We remain dedicated to addressing human rights violations and promoting justice and accountability worldwide.
