The Justice and Human Rights Foundation was attended at the Dialogics of Justice (NWO-VICI) Final Conference, held in Utrecht from April 15–17, 2026, contributing to and engaging with ongoing discussions on historical injustice, accountability, and pathways toward transformative justice. The conference brought together academics, legal experts, activists, and artists to address critical issues, including state violence and the legacy of the Srebrenica genocide, institutional abuse within religious contexts, environmental and human rights violations by multinational corporations, and the role of archives and collective memory in justice processes. Throughout the event, particular emphasis was placed on the persistence of individuals and communities seeking justice despite structural barriers. Discussions highlighted how legal recognition often follows long and complex struggles, raising important questions about the capacity of justice mechanisms to address collective and long-term harm. Beyond the formal panels, the conference provided valuable opportunities for informal exchange and dialogue with international scholars, practitioners, and artists. These interactions underscored the importance of bridging academic research with practical and lived experiences in advancing meaningful and transformative justice. The Stichting Justice and Human Rights Foundation expresses its appreciation to the University of Humanistic Studies and all organizers and contributors for facilitating this important platform for dialogue and collaboration. This participation reaffirmed the importance of continued engagement in interdisciplinary and transnational efforts aimed at addressing historical injustice and supporting processes of recognition and repair.
